Coach Registration
Thank you for your interest in coaching for the San Francisco Youth GAA practices!
Our insurance carrier requires the following for coaches and volunteers (including board members):
Background Check: You can complete the background check here.
A background check is also required to coach at the Chicago CYC. We will use the same site as the CYC, so only one background check will be needed. SFYGAA and the CYC committee will receive notice of “pass” or “no pass” for each participant. Background checks are valid for 2 years; if you completed a background check in 2022, you do not need to resubmit this information. SFYGAA will not be notified of specific information regarding the background check. SFYGAA will reimburse the fee for the background check; please send your receipt to registrations@sfygaa.org.
Concussion Course: You can complete the course here.
This is an online course that takes approximately 45 minutes. It is geared toward high school players, but the information is the same for younger players. You will need to create a login for the site. Upon completion of the course, please forward your email confirmation or certificate to registrations@sfygaa.org. If you have completed a similar course within the last year for a different sports organization, please provide valid confirmation to registrations@sfygaa.org.
